New Pirates of the Caribbean movie? Some of my youth group saw it at 12:01am this morning. Personally, I thought it was really long and rehashed most of the jokes from the first movie. The movie was redeemed by a few good fight scenes (one unbelievable one), Jack Sparrow, and a very cool ending.

But why is all the rum gone? I saw it last night to, then had to work this morning so im going on an 1 1/2 hrs of sleep!
Overall I thought it was pretty good, but not as good as the first. Long live Capt. Jack!
I don’t know… The more I think about it, the more I think I actually might have liked this one more than the first one. I don’t know that it makes it better than the first – I just liked it more than the first.
Probably because it had all of the cut-throat action packed swashbuckling adventure scenes that I hoped it’d have. I don’t really watch Pirates just for the plot and story (as good as it is) – I watch it for the fight scenes, predominantly. And this one had some REALLY COOL fight scenes.
I loved this movie.

alright…the movie was good…but omg the ending ticked matt and i off…waste of poor matt’s money 3 hours and a crappy ending…there was no closure to the movie! other than that, it was an alright ending, but it SO needed to have a better close for the movie. however, i guess if it had ended with them sailing off to sea again it wouldn’t have been anything to draw the crowd back for the 3rd movie when it hits theaters!? whatever…good movie. i’m done.
